Mens Room Etiquette 1994, Public Installation Men’s Room Etiquette was a project realized in three public toilets in Edinburgh,Scotland, in the summer of I994. Inside the toilets were text works, referring to male behavior in public toilets. Outside the toilets were plaques, listing eight pointsof etiquette for behavior inside the toilets. Although official permission for placement of the works was obtained, they were removed three hours after their installation, due to “overwhelming public complaint”.
